How to touch up damaged enamel
Before you start
- Make sure the area is clean and dry.
- Test the enamel on a small, hidden patch to make sure you’re happy with the colour.
- If you are happy with the colour, lightly sand the damaged area to get rid of any loose material.
- Wipe the area down with a damp cloth and leave it to dry.
Application
- Shake the bottle for two minutes before you use it.
- Brush on the first coat.
- Wait two hours for it to dry.
- Apply another one or two coats, leaving two hours between each coat.
- After the final coat, wait 24 hours before getting it wet. The area will be touch dry in one hour so don’t worry if you brush up against it. Wait four days before submerging the area in water.
