How to upcycle wooden furniture
Project overview
Bring old furniture like this back to life with our chalk furniture paint.
It's easier than you might think you don't need a primer and unlike other chalk paints it looks good and protects.
You don't need to go over it with wax.
Just give your for furniture a light sand get rid of any loose bits this will help the paint stick. Then give it a quick wipe with a damp cloth to get rid of any dust and leave it to dry. Now you're ready to start painting.
You'll need to put two coats on leaving four hours between each coat. Once it's dry you'll have a beautiful matte, chalky finish that as well as looking great and it will stand up to whatever you throw at it.
We recommend...
