How to prep your wooden floor

We'll show you how to prepare your wooden floor before you protect it. When trying to get the perfect finish, it's all about the prep.
Step one
Start by knocking in any nails. Then fill any holes with our Multi Purpose Wood Filler.
Step two                Â
Sand to remove any old coatings. It's best to hire a proper floor sander. Then clear up the dust with a vacuum. It gets quite messy, but it'll be worth it in the end. Wipe your floor with white spirit, and leave it to dry.
Step three
That's the prep out of the way, now you need to protect it.
